I bought a mean bastard of a new unicycle on Shae's recommendation. Imagine my embarrassment to discover that the 20" unicycle I've ridden to work through downtown Stockholm all year is a beginners one! The unicyclists amongst the pedestrian crowds must have been struggling to control their mirth as I passed. :-)

I've only been for a spin once on the new unicycle but it's fast enough to shorten the ride from work from 30 minutes down to 20. More on this later.

On saturday I went to the first meeting of Stockholm Lispers! There were four of us drinking coffee and talking Lisp - not a bad showing as these things go. I struggled through the whole thing in Swedish which proves that, contrary to popular belief, Lispers are among the most patient and generous of people. :-) We'll have to do this again soon and get eurolisp into the loop.

How do you like the 29" after some days with it?

Hey, I'll be in Stockholm in early April, want to meet up and ride around some?
We could probably get some of the Stockholmare from http://www.enhjulingsfolket.se/ to show up too.

The unicycle is going just fine! I've accumulated quite a few miles on it by now and it's way faster than the old one. I haven't written much because, y'know, it's just a vehicle to get from A to B. :-)

Did I ever mail you to say thanks for your beautifully written SLIME review? I hope so!
